A Cover Check is $29: a written critique of the cover you already have, so you know what's working, what's holding it back, and what to fix first. A Cover Design is $99: one new cover concept for your book, with an ebook front cover, a 2400x2400 audiobook cover and a 3D book mockup. The Studio Bundle is $499: the cover, a print wrap (spine and back), a proofread up to 40,000 words, blurb polish and 6 promo graphics sized from your approved cover.
Cover Design is delivered within 5 business days of your clock-start date. The Studio Bundle is delivered within 14 business days of your clock-start date. Your clock starts the day Quillbench emails to confirm your brief is complete (all 5 fields filled in and your files link opens), within 1 business day. A Cover Check is delivered within 5 business days of its clock-start date, which is the day Quillbench emails to confirm it has your cover, genre and blurb. Print Wrap is delivered within 3 business days. Its clock starts once we have your final front cover and your final page count.
Cover Design includes 2 rounds of changes. The Studio Bundle includes 5. Misses from the brief are fixed free and don't count as a round. Print Wrap includes 1 revision and a free spine redo.
If your Cover Check is late, your $29 is refunded and you still get your Check. If Quillbench delivers your Cover Design, Print Wrap or Studio Bundle late, you get an apology and one extra round of changes, free.
Full refund before work starts. After that, refunds are case by case. On a Cover Design ($99), there is one exception: the first-look promise. If you don't like the first version (ebook front cover, audiobook cover and 3D mockup) that Quillbench delivers, email Quillbench (address on our Refunds page) within 7 days of the day Quillbench emails you the first version, before you ask for any changes, and get a full refund of your $99. Refunded within 5 business days of your email. No reason needed. Asking for a change ends the first-look promise. If you take the refund, you can't use that cover, and Quillbench will never show or sell it. $99 Cover Design only. On a Cover Check: The promise: at least 3 fixes you can use, or a full refund. A usable fix is a specific, actionable change to the title, type, image, layout or color. If you get fewer than 3, email us (address on our Refunds page) within 14 days of delivery for a full refund.
Yes. You get the finished files: an ebook front cover, a 2400x2400 audiobook cover and a 3D book mockup. For covers Quillbench makes for you (Cover Design, Print Wrap and the Studio Bundle), you get full rights to use the final cover for your book and its marketing. Quillbench keeps the right to show it in its portfolio, except a cover that was refunded. Terms
Some covers are made with AI tools and some by hand. Either way, Quillbench reviews and edits every cover before it's delivered. Cover Check is drafted with AI tools, then edited and signed off by Quillbench.

Add the Print Wrap for $59, or $158 with the cover, or get it in the Studio Bundle. The free Cover Brief tool works out your paperback spine and full-cover sizes from your trim size, page count and paper.
Novels, memoir, poetry, business and school books, and family history books. Storyworth or Remento: these books use the service's own cover layout with a cover photo and title, so Quillbench designs the cover image you upload into it. Blurb or Lulu: the front cover is sized to the trim size you pick there.
Then don't. Use the free Cover Brief tool, and the free writing app that runs on your device and exports a print PDF and EPUB. When your manuscript is ready, come back.
